Container stacker consisting of infeed conveyor, stacking unit and outfeed conveyor. Stacks the supplied containers to an adjustable height. The stacks of containers are collected in pairs on a belt that is part of a palletizing unit. As soon as 2 containers are collected on this belt and a pallet is present, an arm driven by a toothed belt pushes the stacks onto the pallet. This repeats a second time so that eventually there are 2x2 stacks on the pallet. This pallet can be removed with a forklift, after which another empty pallet can be placed.
